In Memory of James Brondige
November 3, 1941-August 13, 2026
JustWrite is proud to honor the memory of James Brondige, the father of Board President Sara Nelson.
James was an avid storyteller who found tales in his life, his favorite hobby of stamp collecting, and the world around him. His stamps were little stories in tiny squares of paper. He saw their beauty, and if you sat with him long enough, you couldn’t help but see it too.
James was also full of laughter and jokes. He could brighten a room and make random strangers smile. He loved life, his family, and service to others.
To honor James, JustWrite will be adding a State Tournament award for humor, stories that embrace the light and laughter life provides.
